A fatal shooting in Hopkins County, Texas, on Monday, May 12, 2026, has left one man dead and the community searching for answers after a doorstep confrontation turned deadly.
According to the Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to a home in the northern part of Hopkins County after reports of an active shooting. Upon arrival, officers found Buck Clary had been shot during a heated confrontation at the residence.
