Cade Andrew Baum, 29, passed away on May 4, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness. Born on October 14, 1996, in Mineral Wells, he was raised in Weatherford, where he built lifelong friendships and countless cherished memories.
Cade was the beloved son of Spencer and Melissa Baum, a cherished brother to Kahlee Baum, and a loving grandson to James and Marsha Mudd. He shared a deep and devoted love with his wife, Courtney Baum, whose life was forever connected to his. He was also a proud uncle to Evy, Laek Perkins, and Adaline Curtis, and he held close relationships with extended family members and lifelong friends who will deeply miss him.
A graduate of Weatherford High School (2015), Cade went on to attend Texas A&M University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 2019 and later a Master of Public Health in Occupational Health and Safety in 2021. He built a dedicated career in occupational health and safety, working with Bell Textron Inc. and Halliburton, where he was respected for his intelligence, discipline, and strong work ethic.
Cade is remembered for his vibrant personality and love for life. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, golfing, gaming, listening to music, and caring for his three dogs—Gilbert, Gus, and Reggie. Those who knew him describe him as warm, loyal, and full of energy, with a smile and presence that made people feel welcomed and valued.
Funeral arrangements include a Rosary at 6 p.m. Sunday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Mineral Wells, followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 18, 2026.
